With a background in marketing and communications you’ll be highly experienced in delivering a holistic communication strategy across a variety of channels, including (but not limited to) print advertising, website, social media, PR and mail-chimp. You’ll be brimming with creative and innovative ideas to continue to improve engagement with our brand. You will be confident and happy to become the Get Fruity spokesperson, integral in spreading our brand message. You’ll be computer literate and super organised with excellent time management skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. Photoshop and design skills would be advantageous but the ability to promote a clear brand message is invaluable.

Social Media-grow a larger following!! Who are we targeting, platform and propositionSocial Media is a hugely powerful tool for Get Fruity as it’s a very reactive tool for testing what marketing works and also engagement with our followers.Facebook, making sure our Facebook community feels that Get Fruity is a supportive home for them, and their children’s-grandchildren needs, greatest achievements, embarrassing moments, and funny stories. It’s a place for likeminded people to find strength, comfort and fun. It’s not all about sales! Exploring what we can do with Facebook “live” is a great opportunity too!Instagram, Twitter converse fluently and engagingly with Get Fruity on Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest. Work with press publications and events to grow our social media followers.
Website, increasing traffic and retention.Growing traffic-improve our SEO search optimisation through Google. Keep and record of what works and key word searches.Retention – ensuring that once Get Fruity has been found, customers engage with our website. This includes loyalty schemes, promotions and tracking of AOV, order rates.Work with Davina to ensure that all communications are part of the Get Fruity ethos, informative, interactive and fun.
Mail Communications-grow data!Wholesale-retail, ensure that we are targeting and engaging the right outlets so we expand the network of Get Fruity wholesalers and retailers. Keeping wholesalers and retailers informed with our marketing campaigns, upcoming events, showrooms and tradeshows.Consumer, keeping out database of followers up to date with news, offers and events. Directly to our website, social competitions or retailers.
PR-Make sure Get Fruity is always seen in all the right places at the right time, writing stories that all the best publications (both trade and consumer) will want to print.-Ensuring that Get Fruity gets seen on all the right celebrity babies, mums and their homes!-Making the most of the digital bloggers and vloggers to spread the Get Fruity story and brand values.
Trade and consumer events
Organising and attending trade and consumer exhibitions. This will involve the design of the stand and the materials needed to give Get Fruity stand out appeal. You will also be responsible for organising sampling events within the retailers and client events.
Reporting-The CEO likes to know what’s occurring. Keep her in the loop with a monthly comms report of what’s been done, what’s worked and what’s not and learnings and ideas for the future.-Weekly catch up team meeting.-Trade and consumer marketing plans need to be produced yearly, coherent with promotions and events. Everyone likes a great inspiring plan to follow!
